India signs Haj agreement with Saudi Arabia, quota fixed at 1,75,025 pilgrims

India has signed a Haj agreement with Saudi Arabia, setting a quota of 1,75,025 pilgrims for 2025. Minister Kiren Rijiju signed the agreement and discussed enhancing the pilgrimage experience with Saudi officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the agreement, highlighting the commitment to improving pilgrimage experiences. The quota distribution will remain 70:30 between HCoI and HGOs.
