India seventh largest coffee producer in the world: Government

India has become the seventh-largest coffee producer globally, with exports nearly doubling to $1.29 billion in FY24. Major buyers include Italy, Belgium, and Russia. The Integrated Coffee Development Project is focusing on improving yields and expanding cultivation to strengthen the coffee industry. Domestic consumption rose to 91,000 tonnes in 2023.
