India has achieved a top-10 global ranking in patent, trademark, and industrial design filings. The country saw a 6.1% rise in trademark applications in 2023, securing its position as the fourth highest globally. Domestic filers, particularly in sectors like healthcare, agriculture, and apparel, drove this growth. India now boasts the world's second-largest number of active trademark registrations, exceeding 3.2 million.
