India pitches for dispute settlement fund at WTO

India, supported by 48 countries, has proposed a Dispute Settlement Fund at the WTO to help poor countries with the costs of trade dispute litigation. The fund would cover expenses like appointing experts and data collection. India also suggested reimbursing litigation costs for developing countries if they win trade disputes.
