India, Mexico start talks on preferential trade pact
India and Mexico are discussing a Preferential Trade Agreement to address the steep tariff increase on non-FTA partners. Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal believes this is the best solution and a WTO-compatible one. A virtual meeting has been held and technical discussions on the PTA have begun.
