India demands ADB stop funds to Pakistan as fallout of Pahalgam terror attack deepens

India has asked the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to cut funding to Pakistan, citing the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman raised the issue during meetings in Milan with ADB President Masato Kanda and Italian Finance Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti. India has also suspended the Indus Waters Treaty and is lobbying for Pakistan's return to the FATF grey list. The moves mark a wider economic and diplomatic response to the attack.
