India, Canada discuss contours of trade pact

India and Canada have begun discussions on a CEPA to increase bilateral trade to $50 billion by 2030. The talks will cover various aspects, including trade in goods and services, investment, agriculture, digital trade, mobility, and sustainable development. Both countries are committed to a new agreement and will send high-level delegations in the coming year.
