IMF raises India GDP forecast to 6.5% even as the world stumbles through conflict
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has slightly raised Indias growth forecast for FY27 to 6.5%, up 0.1 percentage point from its January estimate, and expects growth to hold steady at the same level in FY28, even as it flags rising geopolitical risks from the war in the Middle East.
