Yellow alert issued for heavy rains in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Mahe, and Karaikal by the India Metrological Department. Minimum and maximum temperatures to decrease by 2-3 degrees Celsius in Eastern and Northwestern India. Light to moderate downpours, lightning, and thunderstorms expected in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Mahe on 3 November.
