IMD issues alert for heavy rain in parts of Jharkhand

The IMD has issued an orange alert for very heavy rainfall in several Jharkhand districts, including Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, and West Singhbhum, forecasting torrential rain. Other districts like Lohardaga and Ranchi are also expected to receive heavy rainfall. Jharkhand has already recorded a 75% surplus in rainfall between June 1 and July 4, although some districts still face deficits.
