ILO pegs global jobs gap at 402 million in 2024, down from 435 million in 2023

In its World Employment and Social Outlook Report, released on Thursday, the International Labour Organisation said countries should work towards boosting productivity, expanding social protection and using private funds effectively to address the current challenges such as geopolitical tensions, the rising costs of climate change and unresolved debt issues which are putting labour markets under pressure.
