Illegal cough syrup case: ED raids in multiple locations in various states

The Enforcement Directorate is conducting raids across several states in a money laundering investigation. The probe targets an alleged illegal cough syrup trade racket in Uttar Pradesh. The agency is searching 25 premises in Uttar Pradesh and other states. The investigation is based on numerous police FIRs concerning the misuse of codeine-based cough syrups.
