In a tight race for the Haryana assembly elections, BJP candidate Anil Vij from Ambala Cantt stated that he would accept the role of Chief Minister if the party high command desires it. As of 10 AM, the BJP was leading with 43 seats, while Congress had 34, marking the first time BJP took the lead after initial counts showed Congress ahead.
