Jorge Polanco homered twice and drove in all five runs as the Seattle Mariners defeated the visiting Los Angeles Angels 5-3 on Tuesday night. Right-hander Bryce Miller (2-3) pitched five scoreless innings for the American League West-leading Mariners, who won their third in a row and for the 14th time in their past 19 games.
