HMPV cases in India: 3 cases in Kolkata since November; nationwide tally up to 6
Kolkata has reported three cases of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) since November, bringing the nationwide total to six. The cases, all mild, are not uncommon during winter, according to Sudipta Mitra, CEO of Peerless Hospital. Other cases have been reported in Gujarat (one) and Bengaluru (two).
