HISA: Two Maryland Veterinarians Provisionally Suspended Over Alleged Distribution Of 'Masking' Substance
HISA alleges that Drs. Nicholas Meittinis and Adam Lockard distributed a "steroid paint" containing the banned substance pitcher plant/sarapin to multiple Covered Horses since 2023. In addition, nine other banned substances were reportedly found in the veterinarians' offices and vehicles.
