Hewitson sent for scans after nasty Sha Tin fall

Lyle Hewitson has been taken to Union Hospital for scans after a nasty fall at Sha Tin on Sunday left him experiencing knee and toe pain. Hewitson fell after his mount, Joyful Hunter, appeared to clip heels at the top of the straight. The South African jockey was conscious after the fall. The Francis Lui Kin-wai-trained Joyful Hunter bounced back to his feet after the incident and appeared to come through unscathed. More to come ...
