HC stays closure of nine Himachal Pradesh Tourism Corporation hotels

The Himachal Pradesh High Court has temporarily halted the closure of nine state-run tourism hotels. A single judge had previously ordered the closures due to low occupancy, but a division bench has intervened, allowing the hotels to remain open pending a further hearing in January. The Corporation argued it was working to improve utilization and had existing bookings.
