Harmanpreet Singh becomes most expensive buy in Hockey India League auction

Indian men's hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh was the most expensive purchase at the Hockey India League player auction. Soorma Hockey Club signed him for Rs 78 lakh. The league, returning after seven years, will start on December 28, featuring both men's and women's teams. The men's final will be held on February 1, 2025.
