Gujarat has experienced a robust monsoon season, with an average rainfall of 102.89 per cent, with the southern region leading at 107.99 per cent. Kaprada received the highest rainfall at 10 inches, while 139 talukas across the state reported significant rainfall. Meanwhile, North India is grappling with severe flooding, with Punjab reporting a rising death toll and submerged villages.
