A CBI court has denied bail to former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh, citing the grave nature of accusations against him, which could attract capital punishment if proven. Ghosh and former police officer Abhijit Mondal are accused of tampering with evidence and delaying an FIR in a rape and murder case at the hospital.
