Govt working on uniform toll policy to provide relief to commuters on National Highways: Gadkari

The road transport ministry is finalizing a uniform toll policy for national highway users, according to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. A barrier-less GNSS-based toll collection system will be implemented. The ministry takes commuter complaints seriously and aims to surpass previous construction records. Project awards are currently delayed awaiting Cabinet approval under the Bharatmala Pariyojana scheme.
