Govt orders withdrawal of NSG commandos from VIP security, CRPF to take charge

The Union government is withdrawing NSG commandos from VIP security duties and will transfer nine high-risk VIPs to the CRPF by next month. These VIPs include political leaders like Yogi Adityanath, Mayawati, and Rajnath Singh. This shift aims to let NSG focus on counter-terrorism duties. A new CRPF battalion will be used for this security task.
