India has evacuated around 50,000 people to relief camps as Cyclone Montha intensifies over the Bay of Bengal and approaches the east coast, officials said on Monday. The storm is expected to strengthen into a severe cyclone by Tuesday before making landfall in Andhra Pradesh.
