Govt awards Rs 792 crore PAN 2.0 project to LTI Mindtree

LTI Mindtree has secured a Rs 792 crore contract from the Income Tax Department for the PAN 2.0 project. The project aims to revamp the tax administration system. It will improve identity verification and streamline taxpayer records. Data security and analytics will also be enhanced. The project is expected to be live in 18 months.
