Gold price today, Monday, December 22: Gold elevates to a new record high after opening
Gold (GC=F) futures opened at $4,369.90 per troy ounce Monday, just down from Friday’s closing price of $4,387.30. The closing price on Friday eclipsed the previous high the yellow metal reached back in October.
