Gandhinagar rioters face the axe: 186 illegal shops demolished after navratri clash

Authorities in Gandhinagar have initiated a demolition drive targeting 186 illegal structures belonging to individuals involved in a stone-pelting incident during Navratri. The violence erupted in Bahiyal village following an objectionable social media post, leading to damage of shops and vehicles. Police had detained around 60 people, with over 200 implicated in the rioting.
