FSSAI gets 21,042 consumer grievances against food delivery apps in last 5 fiscal years
Over 21,000 consumer complaints against online food delivery apps have been registered with the FSSAI in the past five years. These complaints include issues like adulterated and substandard food. During 2023-24 alone, FSSAI revoked 502 licenses and suspended 316, while imposing penalties totaling Rs 74.12 lakh.
