Fry-day! D-St investors lose Rs 6 lakh crore as Sensex drops over 700 points, Nifty below 22,350

Market Crash Today: Nifty IT index stocks dropped as much as 4%, mirroring overnight losses on Wall Street after a decline in chipmaker Nvidia. Persistent Systems, Tech Mahindra, and Mphasis were among the biggest losers. At the same time, the Nifty Auto index opened with a decline of over 2%, while the Nifty Bank, Metal, Pharma, Consumer Durables, and Oil & Gas indices saw losses between 1-2%.
