France opens investigation into former minister Jack Lang over Epstein files

Both Lang and his daughter will be investigated for 'laundering of aggravated tax-fraud proceeds' over their suspected financial ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Lang, who has held a number of ministerial roles in previous governments, is under pressure to resign from his current post as head of the Arab World Institute in Paris.
