Former defence secretary Ajay Kumar appointed UPSC chairman: All you need to know about the 1985-batch retired IAS officer
Ajay Kumar, a retired IAS officer of the Kerala cadre and former defence secretary, has been appointed as the chairman of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). President Droupadi Murmu approved Kumar's appointment following the vacancy created by Preeti Sudan's retirement on April 29.
