First stage of anti-pollution plan activated in Delhi-NCR

The Centre's air pollution control panel directed Delhi-NCR states to enforce Stage I of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) as Delhi's air quality remains 'poor'. Measures include dust control at construction sites, proper waste management, road cleaning, and emission checks on vehicles and industries. Implementation begins Tuesday at 8 am.
