First meeting of parliamentary panel on ONOE on January 8

The 39-member parliamentary panel on 'one nation, one election' will hold its first meeting on January 8, focusing on deliberations about the BJP-led NDA government's election reform measures. The committee, chaired by BJP's P P Chaudhary, will review the two bills introduced in the Lok Sabha, aiming to synchronize Lok Sabha and state assembly elections.
