Fire in basement of BKC metro station in Mumbai; services suspended, none injured

A fire broke out at the BKC metro station in Mumbai on Friday afternoon, prompting authorities to temporarily suspend train services. The fire, which started in the basement, was confined to construction materials and furniture. Eight fire engines were deployed to control the blaze. No injuries were reported. Passengers were advised to board from Bandra Colony station.
