Farmer attempts suicide at Shambhu border, dies at Patiala hospital

A 55-year-old farmer at the Shambhu border between Punjab and Haryana, protesting for almost a year for MSP guarantees, committed suicide by consuming poison. This incident marks the second suicide at the site in three weeks. Another farmer previously ended his life, distressed over an unresolved farmer leader's health condition.
