Faith affidavit must for darshan: Badrinath–Kedarnath body tightens entry norms

New entry rules are in effect for Badrinath and Kedarnath temples. Non-Hindus must submit an affidavit affirming faith in Sanatan Dharma to gain darshan. The committee aims to preserve religious traditions. Mobile phones and photography are also banned within temple premises. These changes precede the upcoming Char Dham pilgrimage, with registrations already exceeding six lakh.
