Except Trump, nobody has stated India's refusal to buy Russian oil: FM Lavrov

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that only US President Donald Trump claimed India would stop buying Russian oil. Lavrov mentioned that Indian leaders have not made such a declaration. He highlighted that energy security is a key focus for India's BRICS chairmanship. Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India in December 2025 further strengthened relations.
