Ex-CEO of New India Co-Op Bank arrested in Rs 122 crore embezzlement case

The Mumbai Economic Offences Wing arrested Abhimanyu Bhoan, former CEO of New India Co-Operative Bank, in a Rs 122 crore embezzlement case. Bhoan's arrest follows the apprehension of the bank's general manager, Hitesh Mehta, and developer Dharmesh Paun. The misappropriation of funds was uncovered during a Reserve Bank of India inspection.
