EU to impose 3 euro duty on small e-commerce parcels from July 2026

European Union finance ministers have agreed to impose a 3 euro custom duty on low-value parcels. This measure targets cheap Chinese e-commerce imports. The duty will be implemented from July 1, 2026. It aims to eliminate the current exemption for online purchases under 150 euros. This move seeks to level the playing field for European businesses.
