ET Graphics: Govt to roll out eShram 2.0 portal on Monday

The second version of the eShram portal will launch next Monday, featuring new eligibility criteria for various welfare schemes. Initially launched on August 26, 2021, by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the portal aims to create a comprehensive National Database of Unorganised Workers, providing them with a Universal Account Number (UAN) and capturing essential details like name, address, occupation, and skills.
