EPS-95 pensioner to start 3-day protest for Rs 7,500 minimum pension

Pensioners under the Employees' Pension Scheme 1995 will protest at Jantar Mantar from March 9 to 11. They demand a minimum monthly pension of Rs 7,500, up from the current Rs 1,000. The protest aims to highlight the plight of elderly pensioners facing financial hardship. Many pensioners are reportedly dying prematurely due to meagre pensions and lack of medical care.
