Ensure nominations in all accounts, lockers: RBI to banks

The Reserve Bank has directed banks to ensure deposit accounts and safety lockers have nominations to ease claim settlements. Observing many accounts lack nominations, banks must review and report progress quarterly. Staff must be trained, and customer forms adapted to include the nomination option. Public awareness on the benefits of nominations should be promoted.
