Encounter underway between security forces & terrorists in J-K's Kulgam

Security forces initiated a search operation in the Gudar forest area of Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday, acting on intelligence regarding terrorist presence. The operation escalated into an encounter when terrorists fired upon the security forces. As of now, further details regarding casualties or the outcome of the encounter are still awaited.
