Elite figure skaters, 'Olympic hopefuls' and coaches on crashed US flight

American Eagle Flight 5342, coming from Wichita, Kansas, collided midair with a US Army helicopter on Wednesday night in Washington DC, crashing into the Potomac River. Former Russian world pairs champions Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov and as many as 14 American skaters, along with two skating coaches, were among those lost in the crash.
