Electricity bills to rise in parts of Delhi as power regulator approves hike: Check if your area is affected

Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved a hike in power purchase cost agreement for New Delhi Municipal Council, leading to higher electricity bills for Jan-March 2025 and the first quarter of 2026-27. This makes electricity in NDMC areas the costliest in the city. The decision affects approximately 70,000 power connections, mostly domestic.
