Election Commission accepts Jharkhand government proposal to appoint Alka Tiwari as chief secretary
The Election Commission has approved Jharkhand's proposal to appoint Alka Tiwari as the new chief secretary. Tiwari, from the 1988 IAS batch, will replace Lalbiaktluanga Khiangte, who recently retired. Assembly polls in Jharkhand are scheduled for November 13 and 20.
