Edelweiss Financial Services shares in focus after RBI lifts business restrictions on two group entities

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) lifted business restrictions on ECL Finance and Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company. The RBI had imposed curbs in May due to supervisory concerns, but the companies implemented remedial measures. Edelweiss Financial Services shares surged 7.8% following the announcement, closing at Rs 138.8 on the BSE.
