EC moves to eliminate voter list duplication in 2 months

The Election Commission is initiating a mission-mode exercise to remove duplicate EPIC numbers in voter databases within two months. Triggered by Trinamool Congress allegations, the EC will instruct state and UT Chief Electoral Officers to eliminate duplications and correct errors to ensure unique EPIC numbers are assigned to all electors.
