Oscars 2025: Los Angeles was hit with a 3.9-magnitude earthquake following the Academy Awards on Sunday, March 2. The earthquake struck the L.A. area at around 10:13 p.m., reaching 2.1 km (1.3 miles) west-northwest of North Hollywood as well as Universal City and Studio City, among other nearby cities, according to a report from the United States Geological Survey.
