Earth getting a mini-moon tonight. Here's how you can see it
Earth will gain a temporary mini-moon tonight as asteroid 2024 PT5, about 33 feet wide, orbits the planet until November 25. Discovered by NASA's Atlas on August 7, it will not be visible to the naked eye but can be captured by professional telescopes. The asteroid is expected to return in 2055.
